let me do a spin off of Gods Touched and A year of Memories...that was just the most amazing thing ever! And it got better. She offered-yes offered- to read my work and beta read it over it!!! My crummy beginner writing! I can not get over how excited and thankful to her I am, because she's done that! Pointed out all my mistakes and helped me correct them and for that I say A Million Times, Thank You! Please check out her work, its amazing! If you aren't totally familiar *or just barely know anything bout it* with Sephiroth and Final Fantasy, then that's completely okay! The way she portrays the characters and the story guides you along, so you have an idea of the character without having to know the character at all!
It does say warning for language, violence, gore and such, but as far as Gods Touched, there are no bad language that I think needs to be worried about and I think its completely fine to read! This story is EPIC and the authoress is simply an amazing woman/ mother of two. Extremely genuine and if I could I'd have her Beta everything I ever write, but I'll only bug her about the spin off, since I don't want to be a major nusicance to her.
So long story short. READ HER WORK! She's amazing...beyond words!
I...I honestly don't know what to say about your kindness. It's so much more than I could have asked for.
One of my readers really didn't know anything about Sephiroth/FF7 when she started reading and while I have filled her in on some of the intricacies of the character relationships, she is able to follow them well enough. She also really enjoys the story so it means a lot to me.
The warnings for gore really only apply to "Year of" because of Sephiroth later on. I don't think that there's much of that in "Gods Touched". As for the sexual tension stuff...well...I had to make Rufus care somehow. (And I honestly don't think he would have cared without it--apologies). I do try to set scenes apart that might bother people so that they can be brushed over. I'm glad it works.
